I pressed the parts into the press form block and the first piece turned out just great. Proper radius, flat on the bottom and the proper gap to fit the wing spar. The problem came in forming the second mount. I have no idea what happened, but a small piece of something was in between the form block and the steel piece, and it smeared and made a defect in the mount and the form block. I was NOT happy! I've been working on this far too long. The good news is the piece is easy to make. I figured it was time to call it a night, turn out the lights and I'll make a new piece in the morning. It never goes well working frustrated.
