I was able to sneak into the shop for a little work on the flap handle pieces. I made a mount, but I really didn't like the way it turned out so I made a second one. Easy enough and not complex to make. Once that was done, it took a bit of finessing to locate the mount in the proper place. The main concern was to ensure the aluminum quadrant maintained the same clearance in the slot cut in the flap handle throughout the entire arc. So, with a clamp and a little patience it worked out great and I was able to locate it in the correct spot. I tacked it, made sure it was still good, then welded it in place. Last thing to make is the aft support for the quadrant.
