Brief Description:  Control Stick Assembly Part 19

After sitting out for a bit, doing some maintenance on my son’s car and having a great Thanksgiving, I got back to it. I assessed the parts and was able to salvage the vertical part of one control stick. The passenger side stick was removable, so all that was necessary to make was a new bottom piece. Like the first stick set, it was tedious process. Fortunately, the stick layout was still clearly visible on the jig table and the layout was easy. The sticks actually line up a bit better this time.

I cut, fit and welded the necessary tubes, made new bushings and welded them in, and cut the slots for the bottom control stick fittings. I quadruple-checked it before I made any cut! The sticks line up great and it’s going to be ok. Tomorrow I’ll finish fitting the stick bottoms and weld them in.
