At the end of the day I had just a little more time in the shop after mounting the brake cylinders. My A/S shipment came in and in the box was the 3/8ths .065 bushing material I needed to complete the control stick pivots and the sticks themselves. The plans spec .058, but using the slightly undersize .065 and reaming to 1.4in will make the fit much nicer. I went ahead and made the reinforcing washers. The plans say .060, but I just used some scrap chunks of .062 and made them. I'll weld them up tomorrow.
