Brief Description: Rudder horn and tail spring mount Part 2
Not much going on in the past few days. Got some quality time on the tractor blowing snow, cutting into build time!
I got the rudder horn to the final shape and made the two doublers where the cables connect. Just bend and weld to finish.
The tailspring mount is also ready to bend and weld in place. I thought about how to bend it, so I found the center and made my marks fron there. That way I'm su/re not to bend it too narrow for the 7/8ths tube for the tail post. I also made the mount 1/8th inch wider on each side. With the spring placement, the bolt holes in the tail spring bracket were going to be too close to the bends in the u-shaped bracket.
