Brief Description:  Aligning the motor mount...again

Wow...it's getting close to welding the fuselage!

Once again, I have to align the motor mount to the fuselage. There are six tubes left to fit, and they all intersect at the top motor mount bushing!. So, I have to wheel the motor back in place and realign everything. However, this time is different in that when this is done, the motor mount bushings will be tack-welded to the fuselage and the mount will be free. I'll then be able to disassemble the case halves and put them back in the box, along with storing the motor mount. Having that just rolling around the shop hase made me a bit nervous because of the potential for damage to the case.

Having the ready-made motor mount has certainly caused a lot of extra work, so I'm not sure if I really saved any time buy buying one. The redeeming quality is that I should be able to buy a replacement from AviPro if I should ever need one...and I hope I never do!!!

It all looks good and I'm really jazzed at the thought that the fuselage will be coming out of the jig soon!
