Brief Description:  Starting on the door sills

The next step is to install the door sills. It is a little more involved that meets the eye. Not only does the tube have a bend, but it has a bend out, then up. It all has to be jigged in space and is a head-scratcher. It's a critical spot because a truss structure intersects where the bends is on each side and the first 15 inches of the sill has to be exactly level with the fuselage and with each other because it is a reference point for weight and balance.

I played with it for over an hour and it was getting late and the results I was getting just wasn't making any sense when checked against the plans, so it's time to quit for the day. I think I need to create one more reference point and then it will fall into place. We'll see tomorrow.
