Pulled off the left elevator from the horizontal stabilizer. Drilled out the rivets on the forward radiused skin to access the elevator horn assembly. Drilled out the rivets on the elevtor horn and removed the horn. Unbolted the counter weight and knocked the counter weight free from the elevator for use in the new elevator. Deburred the edges of the elevator skin. separated and cut the stiffiners. Deburred the edges of the stiffiners including the backup stiffiner for the trim tab motor. Clecoed the stiffiners to the skin. Match drill the stiffiners. Debur the holes on both the skin and stiffiners and dimple the all parts. Back rivet the stiffiners into place. Dimple the reinforecement plate and match drill the nutplates. Countersink/dimple as needed. Rivet the nutplates into place and back rivet the reinforecement plate to the elevator skin.
