Brief Description: Flap assembly and wing tank bracket
Finished up mounting and adjusting the right flap push rod assembly. Adjusted the push rod to align trailing edge of the flap and aleron. I did mount the wing root jig. Clamped the flight control stick in the neutural position and confirmed it was centered in the cockpit area along with confirming each wing aligned to the wing root jig. Bolted everything in place and cycled the electric flap motor to confirm clearance for push rods and fuselage access opening.
After speaking with the Van's support group and reviewing the left bracket mounting hold proximity to the edge. They agreed that I should rebuild the one bracket. After ordering the replacement "C" channel, which arived today, I alsoI set out to rebuild the left bracket.
