Brief Description: Trim rudder stops to correct rudder travel
Another testiment to measure twice or five times and cut once or maybe twice.
I taped the left rudder stop to the fuselage so that the rudder horn would travel over the top of it. Set the 1" distance from the elevator and pull the 886 stop off and cut the aluminum angle. Then found that my travel distance was considerably shorter than the 1" . So I fabricated another left rudder stop. After a more careful attempt at the right side. Which I had to trim / grind down 2-3 times to get the 1" travel. Then completed the new left rudder stop trimming.
