Brief Description:  Vinyl wrap for left gear column

I purchased a vinyl wrap for the interior. Since I live in the dryest state in the nation, typically single digit humidity, I only painted the structural parts, as directed by Van's. Howerver, I do want to asseticaly make the plain look nice and provide some protection for wear.

I planned to wrap sections of the interior with 3m vinyl wrap. I chose Black, Grey, and white graphite vinyl for the interior wrap. (Having been in the sign industry for 30 years I felt very comfortable laying down the vinyl and found the 1080 series wrap vinyl much easier to work with than the standard scotch-cal/HP vinyl I'm familiar with.

I wrapped the left gear box, taking my time since it was the first time working with the wrap and working around so many diformaties like rivets. I'll plan to lay the cut lines with the large sections. but for now I used a sodering iron for the triming on the parts and overall it worked out very well.
