Began placing turtle deck formers. This is difficult for the first few simply because there isn't much room to work with. It's tight.
So, as I expected, I have a little issue which has been well discussed among the Sonex builders community. There are gaps between the formers and the turtle deck skin in various places thoughout the aft fuselage. This will cause some unsightly dimpling. I'll have to to make spacers to fit the really low spots; I just hate to add that kind of thing but....what can you do.
Also, I had to make a small cuttout in the formers which were contacting the seatbelt attach fitting; also something which many others have had to do. It didn't take much but it's a pain. I added a small doubler behind the cutout just in case.
