Placed and drilled aileron and flap hinges per instruction. Had to minimally increase the size of the counterweight cut-out into the rear spar for clearance. Installed Hinge and riveted in place.
Flap and ailerons connected to push rod end bearing. Did not cotter as these will be removed for painting, etc.
Also, did not drill and install cotter to hinge pin for same reason as above.
Placed and riveted the fiberglass wing tip. This required some trim work. I will have to do some tweaking later to fair out a spot or two.
Placed in my niffty wing rack.
My children added a bit of artwork to the aileron; a pleasant wildlife strewn landscape by Madeline and a super fast jet airplane with a tennis court on top and a parachute catcher on the front.
