Now that the aileron is on I felt good about placing the flap hinge to the wing. It is now mounted and the flap control tube is placed. The cotter is missing as this too will require removal for paint.
Placed the right wing tip. Make sure you get the supplemental instruction sheet from the Sonex web site. The plans don't mention making any cut outs but if you don't you are going to have great difficulty. It went well once I started making the cut outs.
I do not like the small gaps at the leading edge where the wing skin and the fiberglass tip meet. I know I have seen other builders vetch about this as well. Mine is only on the bottom surface at the very tip. I think I may bondo it prior to paint.
