The CNC'd spar caps (as supplied by Sonex) need lots of finish work. This is not difficult but does take quite a bit of time. Deburred, removed tooling marks, filed, and scotch brite to all surfaces and edges. Was only going to do the right two caps but....figured that while I was in the "groove" I might as well do it. I'll thank myself later. 8.5 hrs of non-stop drudgery.
This caps are very pretty once cleaned up. I am very glad I did not entertain the idea of cutting these complex shapes myself.
