I have had fits with my cowling from the start. I am sure I made it much worse by doing the cowling split modification but.....
I have finally placed all the Skytanium fastners. I have an issue however in that the male portion will become loosened from the part. When fastened, they are very secure but they are not retained well against the fiberglass. Still working on that; thinking I will epoxy them in as well as used the supplied retaining ring.
I placed the NACA duct which will feed my Heat muff. Riveted and epoxied.
Once the lower cowl was in place I was able to cut off my exhaust to the prescribed length
