Continue to work (struggle) with the cowling. I have set the Skyloc fasteners in the upper cowling top piece. Ready to set the side fasteners.
Cut out the low pressure dump and exhaust exits in the lower cowl. Fabricated the angled trim piece for that dump. Opened an access hole for the gascolator and an exit for the fuel vent.
Placed the exhaust heat muff for my cabin heat installation.
Made a stainless steel heat shield for the starboard exhaust as it passes over my fuel line. Looks nice but as a friend pointed out to me- it would be much more effective if I made it stand-off the exhaust instead of laying upon it. Doh! Will make that modification soon.
