Spent a bit of time working out some electrical/avionics issues. 1. The RDAC should be powered off the secure feed directly from the Enigma unit- although grounded directly to the engine block. Not sure why this was not clear before ( the feed at least). No problem to move to the correct feed.
2. I could not get my V10 comm to talk to the Enigma. The protocol was correctly set but still no joy. I took the harness down and immediately saw the issue. I had connected the RS232 port TX line to the TX line from the radio and the RX line to the RX line. That would be the problem. Took the wires apart and corrected the path. Happy to say the radio and EFIS are now communicating well together.
