Brief Description: Riveted nutplates onto trim reinforcement plate
Rivetted the #6 nutplates onto the trim reinforcement plate. Much easier to do it now than when it is installed.
First time doing the nutplates and had to wait till I got my #6 screw dimple. I set up a countersink to do the very fine countersink for the small head 1097 rivets that my Teach advisor recomended. They work and look real nice. Small heads lets the countersink be very shallow.
Had to drill out a few that I bent over that were up against the flange.Thet second time I got the right setuo and they went well. Overdorve one of the easier ones , so drilled it out and the next one was good.
