Ok, learned a lot about the bend on the trim tab today.
First attempt I did not space the bottom bend out far enough to mount the trim tab horns. I did not have the edge distance for the aft holes.
Fortunately, My EAA Tech counsler, Rob Brooks, had an extra trim tab skin from his RV-7 build. Apparently, I am not the first person to make this mistake. This seems to be THE most popular piece to mess up on the whole airplane!.
Second time worked like a charm. I worked backwards from the trim tab horn positioned and made the bend line fit right to it . Live and learn. Glad this one is done.
