Brief Description:  Starting Wings

After a big move, building a new home and now settled in permanently I’m finally getting back to building airplanes. I never thought it would take this long to be get into it! The 4-place is in storage as I’m going to finish up the LSA Kit first. For now our garage once again serves as an airplane building factory.

The first thing is to get the new airplane factory set up. I’m going to finish the wings first. I’ve laid the right wing on the table and drilled out the pop rivets to open up the bottom side. I pulled out and inventoried the parts packed inside the wing. I’ll probably spend a few days now just checking to see what more I’ll need yet to finish up the wings. I have a hardware package that should have most of what I need.

My right wing is number 27LSA. There is an engineering change notice for a change to a dimension on Drawing #5 where the hole location on the lower cap strip for the pulley bracket is corrected. Checking my wing it looks like mine is correct.
