I finished fitting the rear tube for the right gear leg. I then tacked then welded all fittings. I welded the .062 reinforcement pieces on.
Both the right and left axles have a 1/16 inch toe-out after welding. I tried using the technic Russ showed on the CD to fix that but had no luck. He showed clamping the axles into the correct position then heating the tubing up to stress relief. I spent a lot of time doing that but it kept springing back to toe out. The only way I can see to overcome it would be to over correct it to allow for some spring back. My concern in doing that is to move it too far and chasing it back and forth.
