I finished the rest of the bushings for the top of the legs. Next I made the pieces that are welding on to the bushings then welded them on. I ordered some "L" tips for my Meco Midget and this is the first chance I had to use them. These tips are great for the heaver materials that require a tip bigger than the #3 "N" tip. I have the #4 and #5 "L" tips now and wish I would have had them a lot sooner. It would have saved me some frustration.
I purchased my axles from Dallas Shell some time ago. The axles are threaded and machined for 1-1/2" bearings. My wheels and brakes are Grove 66-152. I located and marked the center line of the tread on the axles. This mark will be laid out with a 72" distance between treads.
