"A few hours yesterday and more today. Some days it seems like I'm fighting the puddle and some days it just flows. Today it was flowing well - feels good especially since I hit a critical station: C-S. I've gotten to where I can adjust the torch on the go one handed using my thumb and index finger - that helps a lot to keep moving.
It's been said that it takes 40-50 hours to weld the fuselage. I'm already over 50 hours into it and I've got a ways to go. I have to admit I tend to get side tracked and start to lose interest. I have a huge respect for anyone that does this full time.
I'm definitely on the down hill side. I finished station C-S which is probably the hardest - or at least I've been dreading it as I've watched it approaching! Since it's a good flowing day I stayed focused and kept moving to the next cluster. I made it as far as the right main spar attach point."
