"The weather has finally gotten nice but it's cutting into my Bearhawk time. There's a lot of things that I need to get done this time of year.
For Bearhawk progress I finished up the diagonals for the top except the little ones between station ""O"" and ""P"". I removed the big cross tube at station ""O"" so the frame was flat on the table. Then I tack welded the cross tubes starting at the back and moving toward the front. Then I tacked welded the cross tubes. Then I tacked the inside corners. With everything tacked I shimmed the frame off the table 5/16"" and positioned the big cross tube at station ""0"". Then I tack welded that tube and the cross tubes between O-N. Then I started making the little cross tubes between O-P. I only got one fit and tacked before I ran out of time. Not much more to do to have the top ready to move off the table."
