Brief Description:  Left aux tank

I deburred the metal and formed the other aux tank - first forming the sides then the one piece top and bottom. On the sides I didn't have any jig holes because I want to keep holes to a minimum. To form the sides I just clamped the blank between the master form and the backer. That worked fine even with the lack of jig holes.

I was going to drill the holes for the NPT welding flanges but I realized I had the wrong size. Per the aux tank plans in the Bear Tracks I ordered the 1/4" flanges but I'm going to use 1/8" flanges for vent and drain. I do have the 3/8" flange for the fuel line.

I decided to cut the hole for the filler neck. I used a practice piece to check for fit. That one was just a hair tight so I made a slight adjustment then cut the hole for the left tank and it was TOO BIG! The whole filler neck slipped through. Now I need to make a whole new top/bottom. Good thing I ordered extra material...
