Brief Description:  Filler neck back plate, fuel vent line

I made the filler neck skin back plates. I dimpled the skins for the plate and counter sunk the holes in the plates. The right wing is now caught up with the left wing. Riveting skins can't be too far away!

I'm using the vented fuel caps. I originally planned to run a secondary vent from the tanks to the bottom of the wing. It's been reported that the secondary vent is not necessary and can even be a problem with fuel venting out. Some that have the secondary line later disconnected it.

I've decided to instead cross vent my main and aux tank. To prevent fuel cross flow I was thinking of cross venting the right aux and to the left main tank and the left aux tank to the right main. Then I noticed Georg Himmeroeder used a check valve between the main and aux tank to prevent flow from the main to the aux tank. I think now I may do the same. http://homepage.mac.com/ghim/Bearhawk/page55/page57/page57.html

I had to use some shop time for head scratching to figure out just how I need to run the vent line. I removed all the skins again. Since I put the aux tank vent on the outboard side I need to route back across the aux tank. I located and drilled a hole for all the tank vent line attach points. Next I removed the fuel tanks. Then I drilled all the holes for the vent lines.
