"More miscellaneous work today. I finished cleaning the cut out for the aux tank bay left wing. I made the same cut in the right wing panel. I've made enough cuts in panels now that it's routine. I used to take a lot of time making sure I was making the cut right but I found myself almost even daydreaming while cutting this one.
I clecoed the panel onto the wing to clean the cutout edges. It's a little tricky getting this panel on with the nose skins riveted on. To lift the nose skin edge at the spar so I could slide the panel under I put a cleco in the nose skin panel every few holes. The cleco did not go through the spar so it created a little gap to work with. To move the panel around I clecoed the aux tank cover on to make it easier to handle.
