I wanted to try bending the flap trailing edge on the brake but my first attempt didn't turn out too well. I had enough material per my sheet layout to replace the first try but I didn't have enough for another try if I screwed it up. I did have enough for a couple tries for the aileron training edge so I decided to do that. I pulled the sheet out and cut the blank strips per the layout.
I rolled the edges with the Avery edge roller first because it looked like it would be hard to do it after I bend the piece to 15 degrees.
I could not get a 90 degree bend in the .025 sheet using the brake. I was able to work it over using 8' 2x6 while still in the brake but still not to 90 degrees. I clamped the part to the table and was able to work a bend past 90 degrees manually. I then clamped a 2x6 on top and continued clamping until I had the radius and angle that I needed.
This procedure worked okay but it probably would have been easier using a "real" brake. I'm going to try it again with a couple other ideas and see if I can make it a little easier.
