I was able to use the pneumatic squeezers using a 2" yoke for most of the rivets. These made it so easy I almost felt like I was cheating. I actually did slip once and still managed one "smiley" face that I had to remove and redo. I did have to use a gun to set the rivets in the middle area including the splice plate and the rivets on the end plate.
I had to drill out and replace a couple 1/8 rivets in the center area. I had to drill out and redo two 5/32 rivets in the end plate and the drill bit broke off in one hole. By the time I got the bit out the hole was no longer acceptable for a 5/32 rivet so I'll have to set a 3/16 rivet in this hole. That was my one frustrating moment. I probably should have done some warm up practice rivets with 5/32 rivets first.
