Brief Description: Rear spars locating capstrips and drilling
I made 4 spar web splice plates out of .032 2024-T3. I located the capstrips on the spar webs using the center line for placement. I positioned, drilled and clecoed the end plates. I drilled and clecoed the splice plates (front and back). I drilled and clecoed the capstrips at the vertical stiffener locations using a piece of aluminum as a center locator and positioning. After the capstrips were securely in place I then drilled the remainder of the rivet locations on the capstrips where there were no hinge locations (right side only)
