Brief Description: Attach center rib stiffener angles
I started working on attaching the center rib stiffener angles. I've had the angles and the ribs stored away for a while so it was kind of nice to pull them out again. I did get about half of them done. I drilled and clecoed each angle then when I had one rib done I removed the clecos and deburred the holes. Then I used the pneumatic squeezers to rivet the angles to the ribs.
One thing I discovered is I inadvertently drilled the holes in my main spar attach angles too big (the side that attaches to the ribs). I drilled them for -4 size rivets when it should have been -3. When I read the note for the rib doubler at the wing root it called for -4 rivets. The -4 rivets were just for the rib not all of them. I do recall that I did determine that a while back but I forgot. I ask the Bearhawk group if this is okay and I got the thumbs up. I didn't think it would really matter but I figured I better ask.
