Well, I feel like I'm back on track now. I re-did the main spar webs today. It wasn't without some more problems though. I actually received my material and was going to do this yesterday. I opened up the box and laid out the 4x8 sheet of .032 and it was all scratched and had a crease right in the middle. The damage wasn't from shipping because I could see where they tried to work the crease out. I called up AS and told them this piece of aluminum was unacceptable. They overnight shipped a new piece. I have serious concerns about their quality control but their customer service is first rate.
The new piece came this morning. I opened the box and this piece was good.
I router cut all the main spar webs and deburred them. I took the pieces over to be bent on the 8' brake. They came out the right size this time. Making the templates took all the question out of it. These worked great. We also bent the false spar web that goes behind the fuel tanks.
Andrea didn't go with me the last time we bent spars but she came this time to see for herself has it was done. She asked a bunch of questons after the first time.
After bending the spar webs I went home and started setting up the table for the spars. I used my laser level to set it up perfectly flat and level.
