Brief Description: Little cross tube for tail wheel
"I fit and tacked the little cross tube and mounting tube for the tail wheel. I used a unibit to drill the holes in the cross tube then used a dremel to grind the remaining open to fit the mounting tube. The mounting tube is 5/8"" x .095 and I only have a one foot length. Rather than cut the tube I just used the whole thing for now and will trim the bottom later.
To position the tubes I used a similar method as Russ shows on the CD only I worked from the bottom instead of the top. First I tacked the cross tube using the mounting tube to help position it. Then with the cross tube tacked I tacked the mounting tube leaving the bottom long for now.
This time of year is always busy around the house but I'm tryinig to get a little something done on the Bearhawk every day that I'm home so not a lot of time put in today but at least some progress..."
