"Using some 2x4's I had laying around I built the jig for the fuselage. I put a support at stations J, M, N and P. I measured from station J (or more accurately station H of the bottom frame which is the same location) forward to locate the stations. Then I positioned a cross beam at each station measuring up from the table top.
I put the upper frame on top of the jig. Before I removed the frames from the layout table I marked the center line on each cross tube.
I noticed on Pauls builders log that he put a bend in station O. I actually built the jig with that in mind but I'm not sure I'm going to put a bend there. It looks like on the plans that the longerons are straight from station P to N with the only bends at station N and M. I'm still trying to sort through that so I am not making a bend there yet. I made the bend at stations N and M."
