I dimpled then primed the right elevator understructure. Space gets real tight where rib flange trailing edges come together, so I used the no-hole yoke compbined with the femae half of a pop rivet dimpler. Image 1 shows a close up of this arrangement. Shown is my yoke in the vice with the femail die simply laying on top of the yoke. I then began dimpling the left elevator components but got a bit over eager and dimpled the top surface of the trim tab spar instead of countersinking. Van's said this is not a problem and suggested dimpling the corresponding holes within the trim tab hinge.
