The microstop cage needed modified in order to fit up against the spar flange so that the outboard holes could be countersunk. Rivets in this area, which secure the inboard rib to the spar, are installed flush so that the elevagtor horn can be secured to the spar over the top of them. The elevator control horn will attach over the countersunk rivets used to secure the inboard rib.
