I decided to go with the hinge wingtip attach method, using Mike Bullock's excellent writeup as a guide (www.rvplane.com). Trimmed the inside edge of right wingtip to be sure it would slide in flush and not hit the tip rib. Taped it in place tightly.
Drilled an extra set of holes betweein the existing ones on the skin at the tip to better secure the hinge and drilled the wingtip flange as well.
Pulled the tip, and installed the hinge. Drilled the hinge to the firberglass, bot top and bottom.
