My good friend Dave and his son Adreas came by today to rivet on the top skins on the right wing.
Extensive trainign was done, including building a Van's toolbox with Adreas, to get the feel of the tools and techniques. The work went quite quickly with a firm, steady rivet gun (I was on the bar). Dave drove the gun, and Andreas was in charge of pulling the clecos and removing the rivet tape. Once the first pass was done, it was a fast job to load the now empty holes with rivets, re-tape, and drive. Not one bad rivet! What a fun and productive day.
