Brief Description: Install heat muff and prop gov fitting
With the exhaust stack in place, I cut the SCAT tubing made the run from the heater muff to the heater box vent valve. SCAT tube is fairly easy to work with and came out nicely.
The big effort of the day was installing the prop governor bracket and test fitting the pitch cable. I rapidly found that there was no way to do this on the engine, so off came the governor and I did the installation of the rod end and hardware on the bench. It was a bear to get the bolt into the gov arm; the fit was quite tight. In the end, though, all came out well and I was able set the arm clocking correctly, and saftey up all the screws. Back on the engine it went, with just enough room for the torque wrench do to it's magic.
