Tool the plane out of the hangar to test the GPS system. While pulling it back in, the left elevator hit the hangar door hard enogh to put a crease in the TE. (damn!).
Afer some inspection and consideration on how difficult it would be to drill everthing out, I decided to get a full set of replacement parts from Van's and do a full new build. Should only take 2-3 days. That puts a dent in my schedlue, too!
