Brief Description:  Left inboard bottom skin riveting

Took detailed pre-close photos of all the ribs, spars and bays prior to putting the final skins on. Vaccumed out any remaining dust and chips (photos not shown; in log)

Clecoed on the inboard bottom skin. 100% clecos on the flap support bracket, 60% on the rear spar and a few up each rib. Loaded the rivets and proceeded solo. With the top open, there was sufficient access to reach the spar rivets witht the bar in one hand and the gun in the other. Fortunately, I have relatively long and skinny arms .. just long enough. Riveted along the spar and the first few rivets up the ribs. Then, I moved the cleco up about 3 holes, loaded and riveted, slowly closing the skin from the bottom up. About 75% up, there was insufficient flexibility of the skin to rivet though the gap at the top, but the lightening holes and access panel gave easy access to the remaining rivets along the ribs and top spar.

It was now time to install the pitot mast. I'm using the SafeAir1 kit rather than Van's because I want the AOA functionality on the pitot tube (likey with a Dynon kit later). I had to mark, cut, anf file the skin. 3 rivets attach the mast to the spar and two more to the skin. I won't install these until much later to avoid damage. Access is easy via the inspection port.
