Finished up assembly of aileron spars and drilling for #4 pop rivets on bottom of the ailerons.
Somehow, I reversed the up side on the right LE, and drilled the #30 holes on the top side of the aileron. Damn. However, a study of the spar and skins showed that there is plenty of edge distance to up-size the #3 rivets on top to #4s. Now, the top and bottom have #4 rivets on both ailerons where the LE skin joins the spar. It's barely noticeable; it's a completely safe alteration, and only adds about 0.1 oz of extra rivet weight. Saves 2 weeks of schedule and probably $100 + from Vans. Got lucky here; I'm not a big fan of this type of screw-up.
