Brief Description:  First primer experience

Completed dimpling the right side with the squeezer and drilled the countersinks on HS-710 and 714. Rubbed all surfaces down with a maroon SB pad. Looks pretty! Didn't have a enough time to start on dimpling the skins, so I thought I'd play with the spray gun. Loaded it up with a bit of AFS EkoPrime (water based) primer, 25 seconds on the viscosity cup, and set the pressure at the gun to 15 PSI with full flow (40 PSI feed) and found that it sprayed nicely with the HF Purple/silver gun (1.4 mm tip). Since the ribs were preped, I pull out some of the AFS etcher, and dilued 250 ml to 1000 ml water and soaked the parts for 3 min with agitation, rinsed them, and dried them with the heat gun. Then, primed em! The primer went on well though I probably put a bit too much on in one coat; there was no sagging, though. Let em dry for 3 hours, flipped them, and did the backs. Not too bad for a first try. Easy cleanup, too!
