Brief Description:  Rudder riveting

Torqued to 25in-lbs the rudder counterweight AN3 bolts + torque sealed (red). Rudder riveting. Riveted the counterbalance skin to the main skin and spar. Here, a mix of pneumatic squeezer, hand squeezer, and bucking was needed. The tungsten bar workded great. 35 lbs for my 3x gun is just right for size 3 rivets. Inserted the R-903 tip rib and began the riveting of the skin. Along the spar, the 3" hand squeezer worked well. For the fatter sections of the ribs, the alligator. For the narrow areas, the thin head on the hand squeezer worked well. A few rivets in the thin areas of the ribs still need to be installed. I was able to use the hand squeezer to set all the rivets in the horn rib area (thru the large lightening hole). It was a bit of a chinese puzzle, but it did work! No unnecesary pop rivets yet... Next step: the wedge.
