It was good to finally get back to work on the sonex after a couple weeks off to do a home improvement project installing 8 windows. I installed them mostly in a 3 day weekend. Had a few odds and end to finish up but was really tired for the most of the next week. Tonight installed one of the two rudder cable fairings. I had to enlarge the opening to prevent the cable from rubbing on the side of the fuselage.
The plans had a drawing that you could use to cut out your own, which is what I did at first, then I saw another builder had used these custom one that were made by Avery Tools. These look a lot better than the ones I made for sure.
