Brief Description: Left wing deburring and dimpling of forward ribs
A fun filled day of deburring and dimpling. I think there are 4000 holes in this wing to be deburred. At least it seemed like there was. It was good to have the spars and ribs done so I can move on to the skins.
I dimpled the forward ribs that I had drilled with the #33 bit to allow for the expansion that occurs when you dimple the holes. The simple dimple die, which I used in the rivet puller, worked a lot better with the smaller #33 size hole. The only problem I had was that I had to grind the tips of some cleco’s to use to hold the forward skin to the ribs after the holes were drilled to size.
