Brief Description: Engine baffle install and oil cooler fabrication
Continued working on fitting the baffle kit and the oil cooler assembly. I figured out that I bent the housing for the oil cooler backwards. I noticed this when I went to mount the housing to the engine and the mounting holes were not lining up. After re-bending the housing I notice the oil cooler was larger than what appeared in the photos that were in the assembly manual. I e-mailed Sonex tech support and sent them this photo to see if something had changed or made incorrectly.
Reply from Sonex was that the cooler can be cut to fit the hole in the mounting plate and this was normal.
