Tonight I continued fitting the vertical and horizontal stabilizer. I spoke with a few people at Oshkosh about the rubbing issue I was having with the elevator control horn most of them said this was normal and they used a grinder to grind down the rear side of the control horn weldment. I used a scrap piece of sheet metal to slide under the skin so I could trim the skin without getting into the spar. I trimmed about a 1/8 of an inch off of the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer where it comes in contact with the turtle deck.
