This afternoon I drove up to Bentonville to have my friend Matt do a little welding for me on my motor mount. Can't say enough about how great it is to have the knowledge and assistants from other fellow builders and EAA members. I hope to someday return the favor and help Matt on his project and any other builders that might need help along the way. I really didn't do much today except watch Matt work. I have never welded with gas before and Matt had me practice on a piece of scrap to see what it was like. I can tell you; this is something that takes lots of practice for sure. Thanks for the help Matt! The welds look great!
